fighters not fragile

I completely love this quote from Emma Watson (the famous Harry Potter character Hermoine)! "I feel like young girls are told this whole idea that they have to be this kind of princess and be all delicate and fragile and that’s bullshit. I identify much more with the idea of being a warrior and being a fighter. If I was going to be a princess, I would be a warrior princess, definitely." I don't know why but I feel its more true in our cultural setting that we being women are made rather vulnerable right from the very begining of our lives. We are expected to abide by certain rules and regulation and told to be more cautious. Honestly speaking, I have never been a law breaker neither i have any objection in being cautious but the thing that depresses me is that while raising a girl why both mother and father skip the motivaton part. Why not girls in our society are told that may be they are not physically as strengthened but in their minds and hearts we are more strengthened. This is where the power lies. We are warriors and fighter in our own way. We are as balanced creation of our Creator as our bothers are. Why we dont see the other side of flipped coin?
